It is with sadness that the families of the late William Norman Best announces his passing at the A. M. Guy Memorial Hospital, Buchans, NL, aged 83 years.

One of Williams many enjoyments was being actively involved in the volunteer Fire Department, spending many hours playing darts, and as well picking apples off his prized apple trees.

William leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, Roger (Rachael), & Gail; grandchildren, Ross (Scott), & Ryan (Brittany); great-grandson, Finnegan; fur-babies, Maverick & Goose; siblings, Joyce, Kittie, Nellie, Wayne, Alex, Charles, Mabel, Annie, Linda, Charlotte, & Christine; as well as a large number of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

William is predeceased by his wife, Vera Jean;  son, Eric; parents, Charles & Sarah Best; siblings, Melvin, Cecil, Joan, Alma, & Freeman.

The public visitation will take place Friday, July 25, 2025 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Millertown Community Church, Millertown, NL.

The funeral service will take place Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Millertown Community Church, Millertown, NL.  The interment will follow at the Millertown Community Cemetery, Millertown, NL.
