It is with sadness that the family of the late Wavey Louise Gunn announces her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre, Botwood, NL, aged 73 years.

Wavey leaves to mourn her children, Joanne (Kenneth) Blake, Loretta Gunn (Rudy Hussey), Edward Gunn (Melinda Freake), Lawrence (Patricia) Gunn, Mary (Tony) Keats, Pheobe (David)Tarrant, & Lewis Gunn; grandchildren, Carceia, Justine, Whylie, Samantha, Starlene, Chloe, Mya, Jackson, Sam, Rebecca, Courtney, Travis-Lee, Bronson, & Jenna; a number of great-grandchildren; siblings, Lewis (Madeline) Chaytor, Doris Penton, Esther (Edward) Sacrey, Rufus Chaytor, John (Pauline) Chaytor, Wallace (Juanita) Chaytor, Hubert (Sherry) Chaytor, & Phoebe Chaytor; as well as a number of other relatives and friends.

Wavey is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Gunn; daughter, Pamela Gunn; parents, Wallace & Martha Chaytor;  brother, Clifford Chaytor.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM from The Salvation Army Citadel, Peterview, NL.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Peterview, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Memorial Fund.
