It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Wavey Cathy Gray (Jacobs) announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the age of 63 years.

Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Corey Gray (Amy) and Andrew Gray; granddaughters, Nevaeh and Faith; siblings, Ernest Jacobs, Olive Pope, Sarah Bursey, Donia Bonnier, Joy Brenton and Beatrice Jacobs; siblings-in-law, Shirley Gray, Randolph Gray (Pauline), Hayward Gray (Donna), Betty Osborne (Malcolm), Harvey Morey, Dorothy Foster (Augustus), Scott Gray (Norma), Rick Gray, Ivy Gray and Diane Martin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Wavey is predeceased by her husband, Cluney Gray; parents, Gilbert and Evangeline Jacobs; parents-in-law, Clarence and Gertie Gray; siblings, Hughie Jacobs, Corvin Jacobs and Bonnie Andrews; siblings-in-law, Maxwell Gray (Viola), Will Gray, Velma Morey, Sharon Gray, Robert Gray and Lloyd Bonnier.

Public visitation took place from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The funeral service took place on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL with Major Kay Barnes officiating. The interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
