It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Vida Hoffe (nee Wells) announces her passing following a courageous battle with cancer at the Miller Centre, St. John's NL aged 70 years.

Vida leaves to mourn her two loving sons, Gregory & Geoffery (Jennifer); ex-husband, Bernard; sisters, Priscilla (Lorin), Laura, Carolyn (Dennis); brothers, Tony, & Wayne; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Vida is predeceased by her father, George Wells; mother, Hannah Jane Pynn; and brother-in-law, Fred Chaulk.

Vida loved to travel, and was always eager to head to new destinations, preferably somewhere with sun.  She was a bright light in the lives of anyone who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

The public visitation will take place Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11 am from Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Grenfell Heights, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.  Interment will be at a later date.
