It is with great sadness that the family of the late Verna Cora Elson announces her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 92 years.

Verna leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories her daughter, Linda (Dave); son, Harry Jr. (Joanne); 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family & friends.

Verna is predeceased by her parents, Fred & Mary Peterson; & her husband, Harry.

The public visitation will take place on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 2-5 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, 15A Circular Road, Botwood, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Verna may be made to a charity of ones choice.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL for their care given to our mother during her stay.
