It is with sadness that the family of the late Vera Edna Burt announces  her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL aged 91 years.

Vera leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Joan (Allan) Hawkins, & Billy (Goldie); grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer), Dana (Charles), Lorisa (Craig), Shane (Jennifer); step-grandchildren, Lisa (Bill), Christopher (Pam); great-grandchildren, Katie, Sami, Sydney, Brady, Emma, Sophie, Simon, Max, Cassie, & Jonathan; brother, Eric (Barbara); sisters, Lillian (Jim) Skiffington, & Major Annie Wood; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Vera is predeceased by her husband, Reginald; grandson, Jody Burt; great-granddaughter, Emily; parents, Pearce & Dulcie Rowsell; brothers, William Rowsell, & Ray Rowsell; & sister, Doris Matheson.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 7-9 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
