It is with great sadness that the family of the late Tryphine Hibbs-Williams announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 69 years.

Tryphie was born on May 13, 1954 to Agnes Hibbs. She lived in Peterview and moved to Labrador where she met Andrew Williams. They had two children; a son, Conrad & daughter, Tammy. After they separated, she moved back to Peterview and raised their children. She loved playing games and telling jokes with her friends. She also loved listening to different music.

Tryphine leaves to mourn with special memories her son, Conrad; daughter, Tammy (Peter Scott); grandchildren, Lily, Rachel, Dawson; twin brother, Aubrey (Marion); sisters, Marjorie, Maisie (William); brother, Clarence (Linda Mae); sister-in-law, Mable; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews & many friends.

Tryphine is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth; brother-in-law, Ross; brothers, Eli, Albert (Fannie); sister, Mable.

The public visitation will take place Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11 am from The Salvation Army Citadel, 116 Main Street, Peterview, NL.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Peterview, NL.
