It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Wade Brinston at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, at the age of 55 years surrounded by his loving family.

Trevor held a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His warm smile, iconic wink, warm hugs, along with his love for others brought joy wherever he went. He embraced life with enthusiasm and treasured every moment.

Among is happiest memories where his special trips to Florida with his mom and dad, where he enjoyed making lasting memories with those he loved. Trevor also cherished participating in Special Olympics, where he formed wonderful friendships and experienced the joy of sport, teamwork, and community.

A very special place in Trevor's heart belong to his beloved "Momma Dee", whose love, care, and devotion meant the world to him. Their bond was one of deep affection and unwavering support.

Trevor's Faith was the foundation of his life. He loved attending church, reading his Bible, and talking about Jesus. His faith brought him comfort, hope, and peace, and it was reflected in the kindness and unconditional love he shared with others.

Trevor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those lives he touched. Though our hearts are broken, we will find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, and in the presence of the Lord, he loved so dearly.

Trevor leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents, John and Dee Brinston; siblings, Derrick (Janice), Gail (Lindy); nieces & nephews, Steven, Jessica (Mark), Aaron (Nichole), Arielle (Jamie), Victoria (Andrew) & Ashton (Danielle); as well as many other relatives and many special friends.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.

The public visitation will take place Monday, June 29, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle, 131 Grenfell Heights, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.  The funeral service will be live streamed.  To view in Facebook Click Here To view on YouTube Click Here

The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
