It is with great sadness that the family of the late Tracey Lynn Clance announces her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, at the age of 52 years.

Tracey was a quiet and gentle soul who always had a warm smile for everyone she met. She was easy to please and deeply appreciative of any kindness shown to her. Tracey cherished her time with family, especially her aunts, who held a very special place in her heart. She loved keeping up with her cousins and sharing many laughs together.

Following a lengthy illness, Tracey moved to the Carmelite House in July 2025, where she truly thrived. She enjoyed participating in crafts, playing bingo, listening to music, and going on outings. When she wasn't able to attend an outing, she would always ask for a little something to be brought back—especially her beloved Timbits and Pepsi.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her father, Victor Clance; her sister, Niketa Rice; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tracey was predeceased by her loving mother, Linda Clance; her grandparents, Daniel and Bridget Clance; and Enos and Eliza Pittman.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life service will take place 2:00PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, LaScie, NL, with Father Emmanuel officiating. Interment to follow from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery, LaScie NL.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team and the compassionate staff at Carmelite House for the care and kindness shown to Tracey.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
