It is with great sadness that the family of the late Tommy (Tom) Edward Davis announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grand Falls-Windsor. NL in the presence of his loving wife Shirley, on July 5, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Tom leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his wife of 55 years, Shirley; his daughter, Rebecca (Robert Hall) of Hynes Creek, AB; his son-in-law, Jason Madore of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; his special friend, Scott Rowsell (Lily Hobbs) whom Tom considered his son; and his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tom is predeceased by his daughter, Tammy; parents, Jack and Annie (Brothers) Davis; brothers, Walter (Phyllis) & Mac; parents-in-law, Noah and Betty Hall; and brother-in-law, Stanley (Helen).

Tom was an accomplished carpenter and worked for many years with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as a building inspector.  He took great pride in his work and willingly offered to help any of his friends with their projects.  His "happy place" was his cabin on New Bay Road where he and Shirley spent many hours there enjoying the peace and tranquility in the summer and the snowmobiling in the winter.

The public visitation will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 7-9 pm and the funeral service on Sunday July 9, 2023 at 2 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Rev. Donald Brett officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the family.
