It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Gordon Marcellus announce his passing at his residence in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 66 years.

Terry leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children, Cody Marcellus (Annabelle), Jesse Marcellus (Jenna), Brianne Marcellus, Ryan Marcellus, Jason Marcellus, Tiffany Marcellus, Corrin Marcellus, Tyson Marcellus, Brittany Marcellus (Calgary, AB); his brothers, Rick Marcellus and Cam Marcellus; grandchildren in Calgary, AB, Keona Walker, Tyrone Walker, Mya Dunn, Riley Mander, Ava Jones; along with the mother of his children, Crystal Hobbs; mother-in-law, Beatrice Roberts; plus a large circle of family & friends.

Terry is predeceased by his parents, Aubrey & Shirley Marcellus; & father-in-law, Ron Paddock.

Terry was born and raised in Cranbrook, British Columbia but pursued a life in Calgary, AB where he met the mother of his children. In 2001, he made the move to Newfoundland. When he settled in Newfoundland, he began driving taxi, quickly becoming a familiar and friendly face in the community. Through his work, he met countless people and was known by many for his kindness and warm spirit. Those who knew him often spoke of his strong work ethic and his determination to get things done. Family meant everything to Terry. He would give the shirt off his back for the people he loved, and his children especially cherished how supportive he was in everything they pursued. He had a special way of teaching life lessons - guiding them through everyday experiences while still allowing them space to learn things on their own. Terry was always ready to lend a helping hand, never hesitating when someone was in need. You could almost always find him with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate close by. One of his favourite pastimes was going for a drive and listening to his favourite band,       Dr. Hook just to see what was happening around town. He had a great sense of humour and loved making people laugh, often saying, "What, did you come over on the Mayflower?" At home, he enjoyed watching TV and relaxing on the couch with the dog he claimed he never wanted - though Lexi quickly became his best friend.

We love you, until we meet again.

Terry will always be deeply loved and remembered. We now carry him with us not only in the things we do but the lives we continue to live.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
