Terrance Joseph Skinner's Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Terrance Joseph Skinner announces his sudden passing at his family home in Brent's Cove, NL. Terrance passed away on Monday, December 14th, 2020 at the age of 72 years.
Terrance is predeceased by his parents – John "Jack" and Elizabeth Skinner; brother – Frank Skinner; parents-in-law – Blanche and Patrick Sullivan; siblings-in-law – Agnes Dempsey and Roy Sullivan.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories is his wife Rita Skinner; children – Phoebe Skinner (Stephen Bishop), Airdrie, AB and David Skinner, Brent's Cove, NL; grandchildren – Hunter and Terri Bishop; siblings – Victor Skinner, Eddie Skinner (Evelyn), Gerard Skinner (Irene Payne), Brendan Skinner (Lorraine), Wayne Skinner (Michelle), Irene Skinner, and Mary Sullivan (Ray), siblings-in-law – Vincent Sullivan (Mary), Bill Sullivan, Dennis Sullivan, Greg Sullivan (Ann Payne), Tom Sullivan (Beatrice), Veronica Sullivan (Sterling Pynn), Regina Corbett (Stanley), Alicia Sullivan (Gerald Haas) and Doug Dempsey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Public visitation took place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL on Sunday, December 20th, 2020 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.
Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Private Family Mass of Christian Burial from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL on Monday, December 21st, 2020. Interment followed at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Round, NL.
We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Terrence's memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Skinner family.
