Susan Philpott, 60, of Fleur de Lys, NL passed away peacefully on July 29, 2022 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

Susan was born December 23, 1961 in Springdale, NL to the late Michael & Elizabeth (Lewis) Dempsey.

Left to mourn and cherish fond memories is her husband, Anthony (Tony) Philpott. Susan & Tony married on November 19, 1982 in Fleur de Lys, NL and this year marks the milestone of 40 years marriage. She also leaves to mourn her daughter, Charlotte Philpott (Chad) and grand-dogs Kuma & Kai of Fort McMurray, AB; sons, Christopher Philpott (Jenelle), grandson Derrick, granddaughter Jenna all of Fort McMurray, AB; Ryan Philpott (Brooke) of Gander, NL; siblings, Michael Dempsey (Edel) NS, Roy Dempsey (Irene) of Alberta, Theresa Philpott , Jane Dempsey, Paul Dempsey (Angie), Margaret Dempsey all of British Columbia; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Visitation took place Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 5-9 pm from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2 pm from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL. Interment followed at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fleur de Lys, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family.
