It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Stephen "Harold" Giles announces his sudden passing. Harold passed away at his family home in Harbour Round, NL on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Harold is predeceased by his parents – Lester and Margaret Giles; parents-in-law – Anne Courtney (John Thomas Skinner) and Stephen Courtney; grandson – Dawson Haas; brother-in-law – Lorne Fudge; nephews – Jeremy Courtney and Matthew Courtney.

Left with fond and loving memories is his wife – Madonna Giles, Harbour Round, NL; children – Wanda Haas (Glen Fraser), Fort McMurray, AB, Shelly Saunders (Andy), Fort McMurray, AB and Justin Giles (Lori), La Scie, NL; grandchildren – Anna Saunders (Chad), Jake Saunders, Matt Saunders, Dawson Giles, Logan Haas and Bailey Haas; great-granddaughter – Karlee Wilton; siblings – Mary Drover (Sylvester), Veronica Johnson (John), Mabel Hurley (Andy), Stanley Giles (Roxanne), Evelyn Skinner (Eddie), Violet Fudge (Dave), Valerie Giles (Terry), Junior Giles (Delores) and Roxanne Payne (Sean); siblings-in-law – Mary Skinner (Clarence), Stephen Courtney (Ann), Michael Courtney (Rosemary), Gerald Courtney (Matilda) and Jackie Haas (Roy); special friend – Greg Drover (Jean), along with a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Public Visitation took place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.

Father Emmanuel Osuagwu conducted a Private Family Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 11:00AM.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be to assist the family via Foster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 549, Baie Verte, NL A0K 1B0.

"I was born down by the water and it's here I'm gonna stay, I've searched for all the reasons why I should go away - but I haven't got the thirst for all those modern day toys, so I'll stay, take my changes will those saltwater joys!"
