Stan's heart found its home in the embrace of his beloved wife, Blanche, whose love illuminated his path for decades. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, a beacon of inspiration for all who knew them. Together, they nurtured a family grounded in love, respect, and unity.

His three children, Rob, Stanley and Kerri Lynn, were not just his pride, but the very essence of his being. Stan poured his heart into every moment shared with them, guiding, supporting, and loving them unconditionally. His legacy lives on through their lives, a reflection of his unwavering dedication and profound love.

The laughter and joy of his five grandchildren brought immeasurable happiness to Stan's life, filling his heart with boundless joy and endless love.

Born to Nina and Garland, Stan's roots were grounded in a foundation of family values and integrity. Their guidance and love shaped him into the remarkable man he became, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his career at Abitibi Price paper mill, Stan's commitment and work ethic shone brightly, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Stan's favourite hobby was watching hockey and baseball. His passion for the game was undeniable, especially when his favourite teams were playing.

As we bid farewell to such a special man, we hold dear the memories of a life well-lived, a legacy of love and compassion that will endure for generations to come. Though he may have left this earthly realm, his spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Left with precious memories are his wife, Blanche Card; children, Rob Hobbs (Mary), Stanley Card (Tammy), & Kerri Lynn Loder (Dave); grandchildren, Jonathan Card (Catherine), Joshua, Hillary, Parker (Amber) & Ethan; siblings; Pearce Hewlett (Jessie), Mary Killam, Wilbert, Fred (Doreen), Les (Pat), Gord (Verna), Edward (Carolyn);in-laws; Alfred Hobbs (Marg), Don Hobbs (Joy), Roy (Eleanor), Lillian Gardner (Pat); special furry friends, Billie and Harley; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and other special family members.

Stan is predeceased by his parents, Garland and Nina Card; brother, Raymond Card; nephews, Sean Killam, Raymond Killam, Brody Hobbs and Rodney Hobbs; mother and father-in-law, Bill and Neta Hobbs and sister-in-law, Shirley Pitcher.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Faith Covenant Pentecostal Church, 1 Buchan's Highway, Badger, NL.
