It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Stanley Grogan Banks announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, aged 84 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories is his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Banks; sons, Shawn Banks (Gwen) and Corey Banks (Rose); grandchildren, Megan (Dustin), Mateo and Miguel; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Eli; brother, Augustus Banks (Mabel); sister-in-law, Dorcas McKay.

Stanley is predeceased by his parents, Augustus and Leah Banks; parents-in-law, George and Lenora McKay; siblings-in-law, Beulah (Guy), Evelyn (Al), Harold and Larry.

Public visitation took place from St. Swithin' s Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

The funeral service took place from St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2 pm with Reverend Deacon Nancy Hulan officiating. Interment followed from St. Swithin's Anglican Cemetery, Seal Cove, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stanley's memory to St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL A0K 5E0.
