It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Sonja Dixon announce her passing at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Ontario on August 27, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Sonja will be remembered as a kind, beautiful and loving soul to all who knew her.

Left to mourn with many cherished memories are her husband Shane, sisters Deborah and Julia (Albert), brother Lorne (Diane) and her two beautiful nieces whom Sonja loved so very much - Victoria and Ashley and their father Glenn. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Veronica, brothers-in-law Tracy and Cliff & families. As well as a host of beloved cousins and their families.

Sonja will be greatly missed by family friend Joyce Regular and Sonja's loving friends, always known as her "sister friends", Margie, Jackie, and Annie.

Sonja was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Patricia Hynes, her parents-in-law, Ron and Donna Dixon, and a large number of close relatives.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
