It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our beautiful angel, Sandra White. She passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on October 18, 2024 at the age of 75 years after a brief illness.
Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her daughter, Connie Ireland (Donald Way); sons, Craig (Jennifer) Tarrant, & Aaron; step-daughter, Kelly White-Skanes; step-son, Stephen White; grandchildren, Alexandria, Preston (Chloe), Devin, Mackenzie (Eric), Cody, Kyle, Tyler, Christopher, Colton, Kelsey & Nick; great-grandson, Carson Hennifient; brother, John Rideout; sister, Beatrice Croke; also her best friend through it all who came to visit no matter what condition she was in, Mary Lou Chippett.
Sandra is predeceased by her husband & best friend, Fredrick White; her parents, Alexander & Helen Rideout; brother-in-law, John Croke; sister-in-law, Sheila Rideout.
Special thanks to Ann Blackmore for her exceptional care for mom from the Dementia program, Dr. Belbin, Dr. Phillpot & the staff of the Emergency Department and unit 3A, also to the palliative care nurses at the Carmelite House.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society .
The public visitation will take place Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, 27 Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
