It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Samuel George Decker announces his passing. Samuel passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the age of 95 years.

Left to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories is his wife of 60 years, Patsy Decker, Ming's Bight, NL; children, Roger Decker (Paula), Baie Verte, NL and Norma Decker (Barry Pinksen), Ming's Bight, NL; grandchildren, Samantha Stack (Justin), David Decker (Roxanne Watkins), Josh Sacrey (Danielle Foss), Aaron Sacrey (Hilary Canning), Daniel Sacrey and Lucas Sacrey (Sam Wellon); great-grandchildren, Breanna, Maddox, Deacon, Isabella, Brooke, Allie and Easton; siblings, Lloyd Jenkins (Evelyn), Harvey Jenkins (Rosie) and Shirley Regular (Mervin); siblings-in-law, Margaret Regular, Roxanne Regular, Maisie Regular (Gilbert), Ophelia Traverse (Art), Ella Mitchell (Dave Loder), Clarice Cole (Peter), Delilah Williams (Larry), Ted Regular (Kathy), Otto Regular (Linda) and Pauline Sacrey (Derek), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Sam is predeceased by his parents, David and Gertie Decker, Stanley Jenkins; brother, Eleazer Decker (Melvina); parents-in-law, Hector and Pearl Regular; brothers-in-law, Morris Regular, Elvis Regular and Boyce Mitchell.

Public visitation took place from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Ming's Bight, NL on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. In keeping with the COVID-19 Guidelines, public visitations must be limited to one family bubble at a time and visitors must provide NLVaxPass or proof of vaccination along with a photo ID to attend the visitation.

Pastor Ricardo Durdle conducted a private family Funeral Service from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Ming's Bight, NL on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1:00PM by invitation only. Interment followed at Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Ming's Bight, NL.
