It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Rowena Joyceline Clarke announces her passing from Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the age of 70 years.

Left with fond and loving memories is her husband of 52 years, Edgar Clarke of Pacquet, NL; children, Sheila Haas (Patrick) of Baie Verte, NL, Jenny Decker (Keith) of Baie Verte, NL, Beulah Martin (Ross) of Burlington, NL; grandchildren, James Decker (Faith Sacrey), Jenna Decker, Merissa Haas; siblings, Barbara Roberts (Lyndon), Wesley Batstone (Elsie); siblings-in-law, Dulcie Gosse (Jim), and Hubert Clarke (Hilda); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Rowena is predeceased by her parents, Gordon & Marion Batstone; sister, Margaurite Rowsell; parents-in-law, Gilbert and Mary Clarke; siblings-in-law, Mckinley Clarke, Herbert Rowsell, and Mildred Clarke.

Public visitation took place from First United Church, Pacquet, NL on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

The funeral service took place from First United Church, Pacquet, NL on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2 pm with Rev. Harry Oake officiating. Interment followed at First United Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.

The family are requesting that anyone who will be attending the funeral service to please wear a mask.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rowena's memory to the Parkinson's Society.
