Rose Marie (Doll) Wimbleton was born on Horse Islands, NL on August 1, 1948 to Herbert & Ruby Burton. On April 11, 1969, she married the love of her life, Henry William James Wimbleton and they were blessed with 2 beautiful children, Patty & Rhonda.

Rose was always alongside her husband and provided a loving home for her family. She was a faithful member of the Zion Pentecostal Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.

Leaving to cherish with beautiful memories are husband, Henry Wimbleton of 54 years; her 2 children, Patty Gray (Terry), Rhonda Wimbleton (Richard); her 6 grandchildren Vaughn (Christina), Kaitlyn (Adam), Kendra (Shane), Jamera (Nick), Hannah and Riley;4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Noah, Kinsley, Brooks; siblings, Excie King (Raymond), Donna Gray (Hayward), Judy Newman (Chris), Keith Burton (Lu Ann), Maxine Burton (Eugene), Corey Burton (Stacy); siblings-in-law, Pearl Morey, Daisy Blanchard (Wayne), Cecil Ward (Sandra), Ralph Newman (Brenda); special friends, Ida & Gerald Wimbleton; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, church family & many friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Herbert & Ruby Burton; parents-in-law, George & Josephine Wimbleton; sister, Viola Ward; brother-in-law, Hubert Morey; nephews, Vaughn Newman & Chuck Burton.

Public visitation will take place Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 2-4 & 6-8 pm from Zion Pentecostal Church, Shoe Cove, NL.

Funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 2 pm from Zion Pentecostal Church, Shoe Cove, NL with Pastor Norman Slade officiating. The interment will follow from Zion Pentecostal Cemetery, Shoe Cove, NL.
