It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Francis William Thomas announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL at the age of 82 years.

Ronald leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary of 60 years; Children, Charlie (Josie), Paul (Tina), Danny (Kelly); Daughter Kala (Kent); 6 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Cecil (Blanche), Ennis, Nina (Lester), Roger (Bertha), Verna (Hayward), Francis, Gertie (Earnest). Also, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Predeceased by Father, Charles Thomas; Mother, Florence Budgell; Stepfather, Samuel Budgell; Sister, Beryl Rideout; Sister's in-law, Irene Thomas and Penney Budgell; Stepbrothers, Robert Thomas, Wesley Thomas; Stepsister, Motie Giles.

Visitation will take place for family and close friends at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL, Wednesday August 13th, 2025, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM

The funeral service will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Thursday August 14th, 2025, at 2:00PM with Pastor Gary Bartlett officiating. The interment will follow at the Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL.
