It is with immense sorrow that the family of the late Roland "Claude" Hurley announces his passing from Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday. April 17, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

Left to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories are his siblings, Patsy House (Claude), Deer Lake, NL and Ronald Hurley, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; nephews, Owen House (Leanne) and Mervyn House (Wanda); nieces, Yvonne Newman (Wade), Beverly Graham and Lori Bradley; special friends, Diane and Henry; great-nieces, Chelsea (Nick), Ashley (Kyle), Alexandria (Chris) Amie and Stephanie (Brandon); great-nephews, Travis and Timothy (Amanda); Great-great-nephew, Theo; great-great-nieces, Fronia and Ameila, as well as a large circle of extended family and many friends.

Claude is predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Blanche Hurley; infant siblings, Wilson and Wilfred Hurley, Lucy Hurley; sister – Barbara Bradley.

Public visitation will take place from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Westport, NL on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. The family has requested that masks be worn at all times during the visitation.

Reverend Madonna Boone will conduct the funeral service from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Westport, NL on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Westport, NL. The family has requested that masks be worn at all times during the funeral service.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claude's memory to St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 87, Westport, NL A0K 5R0.
