It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Clarke announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie verte, NL on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, at the age of 97 years.

Roland was predeceased by his wife, Olive; parents, Robert & Florann Clarke; brothers, Gordon Clarke, Randolph Clarke; sisters, Olive Dicks, Lillian Rice, Dora Regular; sons-in-law, Gary Arnold, Ron Smith; two great grandchildren, Landon Clarke, Rider King.

Leaving to mourn his children, Sylvia Arnold, Neta Smith, Wayde Clarke, (Goldie), Boyde Clarke (Martha); grandchildren, Roxanne, Ashley, Belinda, Stephen, Michelle, Melissa, Jessica, Michael & Dana; great-grandchildren, Cody, Emma, Lucas, Taylor, Sydney, Renton, Hunter, Heidi, Jack, Dylan, Myles, Harry, Paddy, Brooklyn, Sierra, Oceane, Summer, & Ruby; great great – grandchildren, Henley, Elliana, Benjamin & Samuel;  also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and a special mention to Taffie & Truman Dicks.

A graveside funeral will take place 11:00am on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Ming's Bight, NL.
