It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert "Bud" Randell announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the age of 82 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; his devoted wife of 59 years; Selma, whose love and companionship were the heart of his Life. Also his children: Sharon (Grant), Faye (Richard), Dion (Betty) and Bradley (Deena). His memory will live on through his grandchildren; Wendel, Tiniel, Tahera, Lane, Stephen (Elizabeth), Ashley (Bradley),Christopher, Colton (Brittany), Christopher (Kiersten), Keshia (Jeremy), Jillian (Jada), Shauna, Jared (Chelsey Lynn), Taylor and Paige. Great grandchildren; Nevaeh, Wade, Aden (Brook), Braden, Carter, Danika, Raine, Shelby, Emma, Jocelyn, Alana, Zoey, Teaghan, Devaughno and Melonie. He also leaves to mourn, his siblings ; Hilda, Garfield (Laura), Gideon (Betty), Richard (Doris) and Belinda (Leo), As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Robert (Bud) Was predeceased by his beloved son, Eddie; his parents Stanley and Winifred and his sister Effie.

Robert (Bud) was born and grew up in Great Harbour Deep. He spent most of his adult life as a fisherman. He married the love of his life, Selma in 1966 and they had five children together. They moved to Woodstock in 1983 where he continued as a fisherman in the summer and his beloved sawmill in the winter. He was a jack of all trades who took great pleasure in helping others. He always had a smile and joke for all he met and loved nothing more than stopping for a "chat". His greatest joy was his family. He loved to be surrounded by all of them, especially the little ones.

Visitation will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel in Woodstock on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 1 PM with Major Laverne Fudge officiating.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, and anyone that may have helped the family through this most difficult time.
