It is with sadness we announce the passing of Reginald Roy Small, a dear son, brother, uncle and friend on April 14th, 2026 at the age of 86 at the Lionel Kelland Hospice.

Roy was born on June 3rd, 1939 to Cecil and Alice (Corbin) Small of Bishops Falls. Although they were living in Bishops Falls when he was born, Roy spent his formative years in a small loving house on Earl St. in Windsor.

If anyone knew Roy, you would know him as a jolly little man with a big white Santa Claus beard who loved to talk about anything and everything while enjoying a nice cold beer at Jimi Jaks or Kelly's Pub, or having a coffee at McDonalds.

He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Marie Callahan. Also, his longtime girlfriend, Angela Ballard, who he adored.

Leaving with many memories his brother-in-law Harvey Callahan of GF-W, his niece, Deidre LeBlanc of GF-W;  his nephew, Rodney Callahan (Charlene) of Miramichi NB.

Thank you to the staff of Twin Town for caring for Roy over the past few years and to the staff at the Lionel Kelland Hospice for your compassion and dignity the short time he was there.

As per Roy's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
