It is with sadness that the family of the late Reginald James Downton Jr. announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the age of 66.

Reg leaves to mourn with fond and loving memoires his daughters, Nicole (Shaun Burton) and Amanda (Gerald Lewis); granddaughter, Sadie Lewis; father, Reginald Grant Downton Sr; sisters, Helen Downton, Christine March (Reg) and Debbie Hamilton (Reg); as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Reg is predeceased by his wife, Cynthia Downton (nee Goulding); mother, Jean Patricia Downton; grandparents, Harold and Sadie Downton.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.

Public visitation will take place Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

A graveside service will take place Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11 am from the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
