It is with sadness that the families of the late Rebecca Lucinda Budgell announce her passing at the Pugwash Hospital, Pugwash, NS aged 92 years.

Rebecca leaves to mourn with loving memories her sons, Caleb (Audrey), Jerry (Debbie), & Freeman (Shirl); daughters, Marie (Edward) Darby, Rita (David) Reynolds, & Daisy (Owen) Wilkins; a number of grandchildren, & great-grandchildren; the extended Budgell family; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, others relatives, and friends.

Rebecca is predeceased by her husband, William; daughters, Evelyn Brent, & Winnie Saunders; granddaughter, Holly Clattenburg; grandson, John Wayne Jollota; parents, Caleb and Emma Samson; sisters, Annie Spencer, Daisy (Alex) Woolridge, Gertie (Baxter) Patey, Hilda (John) Blake, & Susan (Sidney) Burt; brothers, Harry (Susan) Samson, George (Hettie) Samson, Edgar (Lizzie) Samson, & Leonard Samson.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Guidelines there will be funeral service on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Point Leamington, NL. To attend the funeral service, you must present your NLVaxPass or documentation of vaccination along with a photo ID.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Point Leamington, NL.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Citadel Memorial Fund.
