It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Peter Jones announces his passing from the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Left with a lifetime of beautiful memories are his children, Gerard Jones and Lisa Jones; daughters-in-law, Kay Ingalls-Widmont, Dorothy Jones and Rowena Jones; son-in-law, Eugene Doyle; grandchildren, Chris (Sabrina), Emily (Donald), Byron (Amanda), William (Ashley), Jason, Kaila (Gary), Brittany (Robert), and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Halle, Sophie, Ryan, Justin, Ava, Savannah and Skylah; siblings-in-law, Alice Jones, Shirley Dugas, Dorothy Clarke (Neville), Garrett Clarke, Elsie Alyward and Madonna Canning (Tom); God Child, Shirley Hurley; homecare workers, Lori Mitchell (Gid) and Ashley Doyle (Kyle); his faithful companion, Toby, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Raymond is predeceased by his wife, Genevieve Jones; daughter, Mary Maude Doyle; sons, Anthony Jones and Tom Jones; grandson, Private Justin Peter Jones; parents, Peter and Mary Jones; siblings, infant – Kevin Jones, Garrett Jones, Patrick Jones (Mary), Michael Jones, Ambrose Jones (Ann), Fannie Oakley (Michael), Evangeline Downey (Andy), Bill Jones (Mary), Anthony Jones (Beth), Lawrence Jones (Evelyn) and Josephine Payne (Jack); parents-in-law, Joseph and Maude Clarke; siblings-in-law, infant boy, Joseph Clarke, Cyril Clarke (Patsy), Carmel Keough (Richard), Agnes Carter (Edwin), William Hedderson, Leo Alyward, Joseph Dugas and Cecilia Hedderson.

Public visitation took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6:30-9 pm.

The Rosary service took place on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 6:30 pm.

The Wake service took place on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 7 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10 am with Father Camillus Ekedobe officiating. Interment followed at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Raymond's memory to Green Bay Health Centre, 326 Main St, Springdale, NL A0J 1T0.
