It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Rachel Beulah Pardy announces her peaceful passing from her family residence in Wild Cove, NL on Sunday, October 1, 2023, aged 95 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, Nita Dingwall (Gary), Collingwood, ON, Glenn Pardy, Baie Verte, NL, Carl Pardy (Excie), Stayner, ON, Earl Pardy (Jane), Wild Cove, NL, Brenda Pinksen (Larry), Wild Cove, NL and Kim Pardy (Kevin Locke), Wild Cove, NL; Special Daughter in Law Janice Pardy Jerrett (Donnie) grandchildren, Tammy & Shelly; Sherry & Peter; Christian & Christine; Victoria & Ashley; Patrick & Krista; Maria & Dylan, Joseph & Johnathon ; Samantha & Sabrina; David & Laura; 27 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Barb Hynes and Ruby Hynes, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband, Garland Pardy; sons, Harris Pardy and Gerald Pardy; grandson, Kevin Pardy; great granddaughter, Kendal Marshall; great-great granddaughter, Emiera Marshall; parents, William and Emma Hynes; step-father, Simon Ricks; siblings, Clarissa Hynes, Maude Hynes (William), Joseph Hynes, Frank Hynes (Barb), Harris Hynes (Claudine), Edgar Hynes and Charles Hynes.

Public visitation will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, continuing on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

The funeral service will take place from Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1 pm, with Mrs. Beverly Snow officiating. Interment will follow from Bethany United Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
