It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Pleman George Greenham announces his passing. Pleman was ushered into the presence of the Lord, whom he loved and served faithfully, at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL on Friday, June 19th, 2020, just six months short of his 100th birthday.
Pleman is predeceased by his wife - Gertie Greenham (2006); grandson - Dean Burton; parents - Alfred & Lillian Greenham; son-in-law - Gerald Burton; parents-in-law - John & Lavina Norman; siblings - Gertie Bath (George), Jack Greenham (Marjorie) and Maxwell Greenham (Ethel); siblings-in-law - Linda Norman (Heman), Cora Pollard (Hughie), Susie Stuckless (Lawerence), Hazel Burton (Woodrow), Baxter Norman (Almedia), John Norman, Gus Norman (Viola), Malcolm Norman and Chesley Andrews.
Left to mourn are his children - Maisie Burton, Quesnel, BC, Linda Kromley and Taffie Johnson (Wayne), both of Selkirk, MB; grandchildren - Elvis Burton, Colette Burton, Tammy Plouffe (Gerald) and Bonnie-Lynn Castillo; great-grandchildren – Brandon Klingbell (Jayme), Jordan Klingbell, Hayley Burton, Sarah Burton, Joshua Burton, Tyler McConnell, Tamera Greenham (Tim) and Ava Lynn Sophia Castillo; great-great grandson – Troy Greenham; siblings-in-law - Grace Norman, Ruby Andrews and Shirley Norman as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation. Pastors Robert & Geraldine Paddock conducted a Private Funeral Service at Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie, NL. Interment followed at Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
A heart full of thanks is extended to the staff of Springdale Retirement Centre for their devoted care of our father for many years and to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Green Bay Health Centre for their tender care in his final days.
