It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Theresa Yates announces her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL, aged 78 years.

Phyllis leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Beaton; children, Wayne (Tari), Kathy (Ross) Sceviour, & Jim (Carol-Ann); grandchildren, Heather (Scott), Tiffany (Brock), Kenneth (Amber), Natasha (Scott), Kyle, & Tyler; great-grandchildren, Stella, Beckett, Jude, Kennji & Ryden; brother, Gary Smith (Linda), Barbara Bishop, Joyce (Bud) Noseworthy, Wayne (Denise) Smith, Shirley Hemeon, Valda (Bill) Smith, Randy Smith (Lisa); as well nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Phyllis is predeceased by her parents,  James & Kathleen Smith; brother, Kitchener; sister, Norma Woodside.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, as well as Dr. Kirby & Dr. Fitzpatrick at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, NL for the love and care shown to Mom.

There will be no public visitation, or funeral service at this time because of Covid-19.
