It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Francis Ward announces his peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 78 years.

Peter leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Lucy; stepdaughters, Brenda (Ed), Roxanne (Angus); stepsons, Roger (Robin) & Victor; brothers, Thomas (Joanne), Johnny (Rita); plus a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles.

Peter is predeceased by his parents, Thomas & Margaret Ward; daughter-in-law, Margaret; siblings, Anthony (Sandra), Isadore (Thersa), Leonard (Bertha), Mary (Kevin), & Eileen (Doug).

He fought a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was a very strong man now with no more pain and no more suffering.

The public visitation will take place Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Monday, August 28, 2023 at 2 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

No flowers by request. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the family.
