Pearce
Mitchell
Jan 10, 1955 — Feb 21, 2026
Woodstock
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pearce Mitchell on February 21, 2026 at the age of 71 years.
Pearce was a loving, helping and gentle soul who often brought the entertainment to any gathering. He was often found outside always lending a helping hand to whomever needed it. Summer was spent out in boat fishing, or planting a garden, winter was spend in the woods but no matter the season he was always the one with a clean vehicle and full tank of gas. His love for his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends was never unnoticed and will always be treasured. No matter the kid that passed always seems to run to him with open arms, with his love for playing, soothing and being a kid at heart himself made kids be drawn to him like a magnet. His love for God and church was spoke about to many, he enjoyed men's fellowship and any get together, especially if it involved food. He was always the one to greet you with a smile, a joke or a hug. He will be missed by many and remembered by all.
He was predeceased by his parents; Peter and Caroline Mitchell, his in laws; Amelia and George Childs, his daughter in law; Lorie Mitchell, son in law; Terence Decker and many siblings.
Left with fond memories is his loving wife; Maxine Mitchell of 51 years, his children; Floyd Mitchell (Anne-Marie Baker), Lynette Sprake (Will Sprake), and James Mitchell. His grandchildren; Holly Norman (Patrick Norman), Dylan Mitchell, Natasha Johnson (Logan Johnson), Kyle Decker (Ashleigh Wilcox), Shayla Decker ( Jayden Kormish), Samantha Wheeler and Kris Mitchell. His great grandchildren; Abagail Norman, James Norman, Alex Johnson, and Jaxx Johnson. He is survived by many siblings/sibling in laws and their loved one's.
