It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Patrick Joseph "Pad Joe" Skinner announces his sudden passing. Pad Joe passed away at his family home in Harbour Round, NL on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
Patrick is predeceased by his parents - James & Irene Skinner; parents-in-law - John & Josephine Payne; siblings - Dorothy Skinner, Walter Skinner, John Thomas Skinner (Anne), Gregory Skinner and Veronica Welshman (George); siblings-in-law - Gladys Breen, Raphael Payne (Julia), Francis Skinner, Daniel Haas, Donald Skinner, James Haas, Joseph Dugas and Lawerence Breen.
Left with a lifetime of incredible memories is his wife 48 years - Julia Skinner, Harbour Round, NL; children - Patrick Joseph "Joey" Skinner (Penny), Fort McMurray, AB, Denise Shea (Jamie), Naomi Skinner (Sean) and John James "Jimmy" Skinner (Amanda), all of Harbour Round, NL; grandchildren - Courtney (Chase), William (Sara), Hope (Patrick), Kyle (Alicia), Susan, Riley, Sarah and Patrick; great grandchildren - Greycen, Gabriel and Hayden; siblings - Margaret Breen, Bernice Healey (Bernard), Anthony Skinner, Herb Skinner (Sue), Norman Skinner, Alice Skinner, Desmond Skinner (Marijo); siblings-in-law - Shirley Dugas, Eileen Skinner, Patsy Haas, Margaret Haas, Ambrose Payne (Patsy), Peter Payne (Agnes), Maxine Payne, Linda Skinner, Elsie Sullivan (Felix), Clotildia Payne, Doris Bowers (Todd), Gloria Skinner and Francis Breen as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and innumerable friends.
Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Round, NL on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment followed at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Round, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to assist the Skinner family.
