It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Patrick Gerard Silvey announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, September 4, 2023, aged 72 years.

Left to mourn are children, Trevor Silvey (Robyn) and Jenna Rasmussen (Garth); grandchildren, Alex Silvey, Charlotte Silvey, Kaya Rasmussen and Disa Rasmussen; siblings, Mary Ann Daigneault (Jacques), Augustine Silvey (Geraldine), Mary Frances "Dolly" Silvey, Madeline Hull, Margaret Tobin (Ron), Edward Silvey and Sharon Mills (Tyrone), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Patrick is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Josephine Silvey; siblings, Micheal Silvey (Mary), Thomas Silvey and Arthur Silvey (Margaret "Rose"); siblings-in-law, John Hull and Charlie Bourque.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.

A Rosary Service took place from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 6:30 pm. A wake service followed at 7 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Fleur de Lys, NL on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 2 pm, with Father Camillus Ekedobe officiating. Interment followed from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fleur De Lys, NL.
