It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Otto Augustus Hewlett announces his passing. Otto passed away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at the age of 65 years.

Otto is predeceased by his father – Augustus Hewlett; sisters – Olivia Hewlett and Gail Whitt; parents-in-law – Lloyd and Theresa O'Brien; nephew - Gabriel Philpott; nieces – Gracie Philpott and Lily Hurley; siblings-in-law – Jean Hewlett, Joseph Bartlett, Jimmy Simms, David Finlay, William O'Brien and Hugh O'Brien

Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 42 years, Rose Hewlett, Baie Verte, NL; children – Lloyd Hewlett (Angie), Baie Verte, NL, Melanie Downey (Peter), Baie Verte, NL and Brent Hewlett (Melissa), Clarenville, NL; mother - Olivia Hewlett, Baie Verte NL; grandchildren – Ethan, Madison, Brayden, Breanna, Olivia, Tyson and Connor; siblings – Rex Hewlett, Doyle Hewlett, Dianne Noland (Jake), Kimberley Hewlett and Debbie Philpott (Sean); siblings-in-law – Cecilia Finlay, Mary O'Brien (Patrick), Kenneth O'Brien (Lola), Pauline Bartlett, Carmella Downton (David), Florence O'Brien, Edna Myrick (Gerard), Fabian O'Brien (Cynthia) and Rex Whitt (Pam), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Public Visitation took place at Foster Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM.

Reverend Harry Oake conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, September 20th, 2021 at 1:00PM. Interment followed at Bethany United Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Otto's memory to Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL.
