It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael James Walsh announces his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 57 years.

Michael leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters, Patsy (Wayne) Rice, Peggy (Ivan) Sheppard, Karen (Pat Lahey) Walsh, Lorraine (Art) Taylor, Yvonne (Shawn) Gray, Jackie (Mike) Gardner, Maureen (Derek) Mercer; brothers, John (Lynn) Walsh, Leo (Noreen Kelly) Walsh; sister-in-law, Fiona; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Denny & Kay Walsh; brothers, Dominic & Tony.

The public visitation will take place Monday, June 22, 2026 from 7-9 pm, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11 am at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 8 Church Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with cremation to follow.

The interment will take place Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11 am at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
