It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Joseph O'Reilly announces his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 83 years.

Born on March 25, 1942 in Bishop's Falls, NL, Michael was the beloved son of the late Joseph & Frances O'Reilly. Michael (Mike) dedicated over 58 years to the community of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL as the owner and barber of O'Reilly's Barber Shop on Lincoln Road. Always ready with a listening ear and a quick trim, he served thousands of residents over the years. He was known for his passionate dedication to both his work and his family, as well as his quick wit, boundless energy, and ready smile. He enjoyed time at the cabin with his family, antique cars and the beauty of nature.

Michael leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 61 years, Ruth O'Reilly; their children, Kimberly O'Reilly (Karl Parsons), Tenaha O'Reilly (Angela O'Reilly); their granddaughter, Zora O'Reilly; great grandson, Aiden Keenan; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Michael is predeceased by his beloved son, Damian O'Reilly; as well as many of his brothers & sisters.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11 am from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 8A Church Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
