Mike's Trail
He loved the early mornings, with a cup of tea in his hand, when the woods were still before the world had come alive. He loved walking quietly through the woods, along the trails of his trapline, surrounded by the peace of the country he loved.
He loved the water too – the sound of the waves, the pull of the tide, and the freedom of being out on the boat.
Whether on the water or walking through the woods, there was no place he'd rather be. And though his journey has taken him beyond the trails and waters we know, we will think of him often-
in the quiet of the morning, along a familiar trail. or looking out across the water.
Forever free. Forever loved. Forever missed.
