Obituary

It is with immense sorrow that the family of the late Maxine Neta (Noble) Foster announces her passing. Maxine slipped peacefully into the presence of the Lord at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

Maxine is predeceased by her son – Jeffrey Foster; parents – Harvey & Golda Noble; father-in-law – Howard Foster; sister – Darlene Noble; siblings-in-law – Kelly Noble and Wayne Foster and niece – Sueann Perry.

Left to cherish a lifetime of incredible memories is her husband of 45 years – Glen Foster; children – Jason Foster (Sylvia), The Pas, MB, Richard Foster (Brittany), Southern Bay, NL and Jill Penney (Travis), Pitt Meadows, BC; grandchildren – Joshua Foster, Jayden Foster, Keagan Foster, Keisha Foster, Avery Foster, Madison Penney and Lucas Penney; mother-in-law – Margaret Foster; siblings – Junior Noble (Joan), Juanita Burton (Bryce), Elaine Perry (Harry), Keith Noble (Bonnie) and Audean Decker (Ronald); siblings-in-law - Fern Winsor (David) and Andrew Foster (Winnie) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Public Visitation took place at Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM, following specific guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic and associated restrictions.

Pastor Craig Lane conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 at 2:00PM. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Smith's Harbour, NL.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Maxine's memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital, 300 Prince Philip Dr, St. John's, NL A1B 3V6

"When my weary eyelids close and I've sunk to sweet repose, singing hallelujah! hallelujah! as I go.. All my sorrow will be past, I'll be home at last, and I'll leave my trouble here below. When I wake up in Glory and to Jesus, I'll sing, redemption's story! I shall see Him, blessed be, He who has bought me to be free - when I wake up in Glory by and by!"
