It is with great sadness that the family of the late Capt. Maurice Shawn Collins announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin NL, aged 56 years.

Besides his loving son, Christopher (Ally), Maurice is survived by many loving family members, his father, Alexander (stepmother, Clarice); sister, Michelle (Gerald) Rose; brother, Jason (Jennifer Marsh Collins) sister-in-law, Fran Matthews; nieces, Sarah Rose, & Jillian Pardy; nephews, Shawn Rose; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; stepsister, Angela (Kent) Butt with their son, Brandon; daughter, Laura.

Maurice is predeceased by his mother, Priscilla: & brother, Paul.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.

The public visitation will take place Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 10 am -11:30 am from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, 27 Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 1 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel with Majors Peter & Janice Rowe officiating. The interment will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Hare Bay, NL.
