It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Mary Margaret Kennedy announces her passing in Fort McMurray, AB on Thursday, July 25, 2024, aged 90 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories are her children, Regina Callahan (Kevin), Fort McMurray, AB, Cletus Kennedy (Juanita), Baie Verte, NL, Diane Corbett (Edward), Fort McMurray, AB and Paul Kennedy (Montserrat Molina), Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Valerie, Sean, Shawn, Christopher, Amanda, Pamela and Laura; great-grandchildren, Callie, Hayley, Connor, Cohen, Charlotte, Parker, Kennedy, Emma, Chloe and Lincoln, as well as a large circle of extended family and many friends.

Mary Margaret is predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Kennedy; biological parents, Augustus and Josephine Haas; parents, the O'Connells (Mammy and Pop).

Public visitation will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 7-9 pm and continuing on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 8:30-9:30 am.

The Rosary service will take place on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 7:00 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11 am, with Father Anthony Aikins officiating. Interment will follow from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Coachman's Cove, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Margaret's memory to St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 130, Baie Verte, NL A0K 1B0.
