It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mark Patrick Fitzgerald announces his passing. Mark slipped away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at the age of 65 years.

Mark is predeceased by his parents - Bernard & Loretta Fitzgerald; brother - Loyola Fitzgerald, Phillip Fitzgerald, and Gerard Fitzgerald; parents-in-law - Samuel & Dulcie Hewitt; father-in-law - Ronald Dicks and brother-in-law - Todd Dicks and Vincent Hunt.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories is his wife of 40 years - Glenda Fitzgerald, Baie Verte, NL; children - June Williams (Andy), New Harbour, NL, David Fitzgerald (Mandy), Mount Pearl, NL and Nancy Forrest (Sandy), Grand Cache, AB; grandchildren - Michael Williams (Rebecca), Brandon Williams, Andrew Forrest and Brady Forrest; siblings - Helen Counsel (Tom), Jerome Fitzgerald (Pricilla), Bernice Hunt, Dorothy Ricketts (James), Mary Downey (Joseph) and Cecilia Gillingham (Clarence); special nephew - Dennis Fitzgerald; mother-in-law - Daphney Dicks; siblings-in-law - Raymond Hewitt (Marie), Ronald Dicks, Norman Dicks, Maryann Parsons (Brian) and Kelly Dicks as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation or Public Funeral Service. Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted a Private Family Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL. Interment followed at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Mark's memory to St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL
