It is with sadness that the family of the late Marilyn Geraldine Budgell announces her passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 66 years.

Marilyn had a deep love for life and found true joy in the company of others. She cherished her time at Home League and was an active member of the Swinging Seniors Group, where she built many meaningful friendships. No matter the occasion—big or small—Marilyn was always there, offering her support and presence with a warm and generous spirit.

She took great pride in all that she did, but her proudest accomplishment was her beloved son, who blessed her with four wonderful grandchildren and four beautiful great-grandchildren. She loved each of them wholeheartedly, and they were truly the light of her life.

Marilyn will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Marilyn leaves to mourn her son, Hubert (Nadine), grandchildren, Dillion (Nicole), Bianca (Brandon), Cameron, Carter; great-grandchildren Rae-Lynn, Reyanna, Rosalee, & Rinley; siblings, Leslie, Ivan (Barb), Gilbert, Kenneth (Florence), & Barbara (Neil); boyfriend, Roy Budgell; Kayla; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Clifford & Viola Budgell; siblings Marjorie, Frances, Bernice, Gordon, Dennis, Winston, & Alma.

The public visitation will take place, Monday, June 22, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM at The Salvation Army Peterview Citadel with Major Tina Dominaux officiating.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Peterview, NL.
