The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, & friend. Marilyn Magretta Andrews (nee Rowsell) passed away unexpectedly, aged 69 years.

Marilyn leaves to mourn with cherished memories her husband, Clyde; children, Shelley (Craig), & Trevor (Vicki); five grandsons that she absolutely adored, Ethan, Ben, Brody, Joel, & Jonah; sisters, Doris, Joy (Don), Bev (Chris), & Diane; brother, Bill (Sylvia); in laws, Bob (Jeanette), Josephine (Gilles), Lorne (Pansy), Gerry (Nancy), Gail (Oliver), & Rod; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marilyn is pre-deceased by her parents, Herbert & Mary Rowsell; brother, James Rowsell, and in laws, Walter & Joan Andrews.

Marilyn was born in Point Leamington on August 10, 1953. She married Clyde Andrews, the love of her life on January 25, 1975. Together they raised their two children and later enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, whom she dearly loved.

Marilyn loved to shop, always finding a good bargain. Her favorite pastime was reading and could often be seen at the public library. Marilyn could make one laugh like no other. She spent much time with her close friends and thoroughly enjoyed attending fifty plus meetings. She was a devoted Christian and a member of The Salvation Army Corp, Point Leamington, NL. To say she will be greatly missed by her family and friends would be a true understatement.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concerned and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement.

The public visitation will take place Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Point Leamington, NL.
