It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Florence Thompson announces her passing surrounded by her loving family at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL aged 95 years.

Margaret leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters, Glenda (Rene Boutcher), Linda, Joanne (Glenn Curtis); son, Eric (Geminy Hansen); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Maxwell & Annie Rees; husband, Ford; brothers, Gord (Ina), Eric (Gertie) & Albert (Myrtle).

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 1 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, 15A Circular Road, Botwood, NL.

The interment will follow at Botwood Community Cemetery, Botwood, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
