Our mom was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & great-great grandmother. Mom loved all her nieces, nephews family and friends. She was a woman that touch alot of hearts. She was an amazing lady and very private.
Mom enjoyed going to church and loved the chorus, "The Longer I Serve Him, the Sweeter He Grows". She's been a member of the Home League since 1970 and was also enrolled as a Salvation Army Solider. She was active in her church as a Young Peoples Commissioner, Songster, Home League Secretary, Home League welcome Sergent, Corp Cadet Leader, Sunday School Teacher; and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the sick and the shut ins. When Mable's father was in the hospital she made the effort to visit him every day and as a result became a volunteer at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center two days a week where she enjoyed every moment with the seniors and workers at the Centre. Mom also enjoyed playing Ski-Boo with the hooligan on Monday and Friday nights. When the clock struck nine they had to be out so that she could have her lunch and put on her PJs to watch the bachelorette at 9:30 PM. She will be greatly missed.
