Mabel Buckley passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center after suffering from a brief illness. Mabel was born in Cottrell's Cove, Newfoundland to William and Elizabeth White. Here she remained until the age of twelve years old, at which point she moved to Botwood and was employed as a House Maid. During her time in Botwood she met and married the love of her life, Bruce Buckley. Together they raised a family of six boys.

She leaves to mourn in her passing her loving and devoted husband Bruce;  sons, Junior, Terry (Mary) Buckley, Roger Buckley, Shawn Buckley and Wade (Lucretia) Buckley; grandchildren, Denise (Harold) Peckford, Dwight Buckley, David (Melanie) Buckley, Jessica (David) Butt, Tyler (Alyssa) Buckley; great-grandchildren, Logan Butt, London Butt, Aidan Buckley, Ava Buckley, Zach Peckford, & Jonny Peckford; sister, Maude Moores; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Buckley.

Mabel is predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth White; son, Donald Buckley; & grandson, Jonathan Buckley.

Mabel loved to travel, shop and attending the house of the Lord. She was a faithful member of the Jubilee Pentecostal Temple and the Women's Ministry. She attended church whenever there was an occasion to do so. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  All services will remain private by invitation only.

As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to Jubilee Temple Memorial Fund.
