It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucinda (Cindy) Elizabeth Shelley announces her passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL leaving a void her family cannot fill at the age of 67 years.

Originally from Sydney, Nova Scotia, she was born to Agnes & Angus MacDonald, and grew up surrounded by a large loving family.

Cindy was a devoted mother to David and Jonathan, often described by her as her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.

Cindy took special joy in spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed teaching her grandchildren to knit.

Cindy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Thomas Shelley; sons, David (Kristina) MacDonald, Jonathan (Crystal) Walsh; grandchildren, Marissa, Quentin, Brittany, Keegan, Kristian, Mitchell, Haley, Brayden, Patricia, Jonah; great-grandsons, David, James, Cohen, Alex; brothers, Edmund, Michael; sisters, Kimberley, Yvonne, Valerie; home support worker, Sarah Mercer; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Cindy is predeceased by her parents, Angus & Agnes MacDonald.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
